Training and Experience

I’m a National Board-Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of Maryland and Certified Financial Therapist™. I obtained my Masters in Counseling in Clinical Mental Health from Wake Forest University. I also hold a BA from Stanford University in Economics and an MBA from Columbia Business School. I have worked in Silicon Valley and on Wall Street, and am a former CFO and elite athlete. I have advanced training in ADHD, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), OCD, and using mindfulness and meditation within clinical treatment from the Institute of Meditation and Psychotherapy.

I grew up in many cities within the US and have lived abroad; today, I call Washington, DC home. I enjoy working with a multicultural lens and appreciate the challenges of living in and wanting to belong to a community you were not born into. Together, we can hold your identity, ambition, relationships, and desire to belong.
